Amazing 2011 Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet Tuned By Brabus
11:57 AM
BRABUS, EXOTIC CARS, GERMAN CARS, MERCEDES, MERCEDES BRABUS, MERCEDES E CLASS, TUNING
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet that can smoke even the most powerful of exotics in the world? It sounds like we’re reaching considering that the car doesn’t really belong in the same exotic landscape as those devil-may-care machines. But once you see what German tuning company, Brabus, has cooked up, you’re going to have to pick your jaws up off the floor. Don’t feel too bad, though, because we just picked ours up too.
This is the Brabus 800 E V12 Cabriolet and it really does defy all kinds of reasonable explanation. It’s based on the E-Class Cabriolet and it’s got enough power to shame even some of the most powerful supercars on the planet. Of course, all that is owed to the 800-horsepower engine under its hood, which really is beyond comprehension when you think about it. It’s an E-Class, people! Make no mistake; the E-Class has some serious juice in it, but 800 horsepower?
We’re starting to be at a loss for words so it’s probably best to find out more about it after the jump.

2011 Ferrari 458 Italia "Twins" by Novitec Rosso
2:30 PM
COUPE, EXOTIC CARS, FERRARI, FERRARI 458, TUNING
The Novitec Rosso-tuned Ferrari 458 Italia was first introduced to us last March at the Geneva Motor Show. Fast forward to today and the German automaker has released a couple of new iterations from the 458 Italia we saw last March, calling it the "Twins." No, we’re not talking about Skids and Mudflap fromTransformers 2; we’re talking about two blazing hot Ferrari 458 Italias that were re-tuned by the world famous Ferrari tuner from Stetten, Germany.
The pair of supercars pretty much look alike, hence the name "Twins". Both carry the same red and black finish with plenty of carbon fiber details and a number of new items including a new front spoiler, flaps on both sides of the central air inlet, fender-mounted carbon fiber ventilation louvers, and carbon fiber mirror housings. About the only thing that distinguishes one from the other are the three-piece Novitec Rosso NF3 wheels with one model receiving a gloss black finish while its counterpart receives a scarlet red finish.
As for the powertrain, the 458 "Twins" received the same engine upgrade we saw in Geneva in the form of a carbon-fiber airbox, a high-performance exhaust system, and an ECU remap. All these changes took the output of the 458 Italia’s 4.5-liter V8 engine from 570 horsepower all the way up to 609 horsepower at 9,100 rpm and a peak torque from 398 lb-ft all the way up 420 lb-ft.
Novitec Rosso has even released a preview video of the 458 "Twins", which we highly advise you watch, just so you can start drooling over this pair of Italian exotics that were given the best possible German upgrades.

2011 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M Conversion Edition by Anderson Germany
2:14 PM
CONVERTIBLE, FERRARI, ITALIAN CARS, SPORT CARS, TUNING
There aren’t exactly a ton of tuning kits for the Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16Msimply because there’s not much to change on the special edition to begin with. It’s cool, fast, beautiful, and, unfortunately, sold out. So what’s there to do if the itch for a Scuderia Spider 16M suddenly develops? Well, you can hop on the phone and give Anderson Germany a call, for starters. The tuning firm’s latest package allows ownership of a 16M style vehicle without the limited edition hurdle to jump over. The kit starts off with a Ferrari F430 Spider with a number of additions to not only make it 16M ready, but to allow for more horsepower as well.
The design aspect of the 16M Conversion Edition begins with a Hyper Blackpaint finish that is then combined with Scuderia Stripes in carbon steel with a yellow border. Carbon fiber elements are then put in and make up the engine grille, rear diffuser, mirrors, and covers under the hood. Other features that lend more to the 16M style include a front air dam, side skirts, a rear apron, and an adjustment of the exhaust system. The exterior is then finished off with a new set of 20" three-piece glossy black wheels with a carbon and yellow border to match the Scuderia stripes. The interior is a little less drastic with the addition of carbon black leather and Alcantara and yellow diamond Kederrand seams.
The greatest addition to the standard F430 is the extra horsepower pumping out of the 4,300 cc 90° V8 engine. With the help of a software optimization and new Renn-Kats headers and exhaust system, the 16M Conversion Edition can now run 570 HP, up from even the standard 16M’s 490 HP. The bonus 80 HP is then better handled with an adjustable suspension system.

2007-2011 Cadillac Escalade By Hennessey
11:37 AM
CADILLAC, CADILLAC ESCALADE, SUV, TUNING, USA CARS
On paper, a race against a Japanese buzzsaw called the Cadillac Escalade SUV and the ’Godzilla’ Nissan GT-R, doesn’t seem like a fair fight, especially when you consider that the ’fight’ is actually a 0-60 mph test to see which vehicle can hit the mark first. On one end, you have the Japanese buzzsaw called the Nissan GT-R, a car that has earned the nickname, ’Godzilla’. Can a three-ton SUV whose hulking mass is enough to drag itself down compete against the faster GT-R? Hennessey has made sure of it.
This mismatch was given a fair shake by the folks over at Hennessey, which gave the Escalade an HPE1000 performance upgrade, getting the 6,000lb SUV’s 6.2L engine a total of 1008bhp at 5,900rpm and 967 lb-ft of torque at 3,700 rpm. This was done with a forged & balanced 427 cid LSX engine, high flow cylinder heads, a Hennessey HPE1000 camshaft, an intake manifold upgrade, upgraded fuel injectors, an upgraded fuel system (pump, lines, and Rails), twin ball bearing turbochargers, and much more.
With the playing field somewhat leveled, the two protagonists took to an isolated country road to find out which vehicle can smoke the other. To our surprise, the Escalade, which is more than twice as heavy as the GT-R, managed to outpace the Japanese supercar by the slimmest of margins - one-tenth of a second - with a time of 3.3 seconds compared to Godzilla’s 3.4-second time.
While we’re not totally blown away by the result considering the ’assistance’ the Escalade got from Hennessey, the mere fact that a mammoth of an SUV can actually outpace a powerful Japanese rocket really got us thinking just how dementedly brilliant the people over at Hennessey are.
Check out the video to watch the proceedings and hit the jump to see the full specifications for the Cadillac Escalade by Hennessey.

2011 Audi TT GT Coupe By Kahn Design
8:19 AM
AUDI, AUTI TT, COUPE, GERMAN CARS, SPORT CARS, TUNING
It was only a month ago that Kahn Design unveiled the TR8 - an Audi TTinspired by the R8 sports car. Now the tuner is releasing another package called the TT GT that promises a more powerful driving experience. It still involves an Audi TT dressed up like an R8, but this time the tuner focused on replicating the R8 GT.
The Audi TT was redone with new front and back vented bumpers with mesh inserts and a new front grille that mirror the ones found on the R8. The R8 style side blades and billet steel finish door mirrors that are instantly recognizable on the R8 were also put in to transform the TT, as were the rear spoiler and stainless steel quad exhaust system. The modifications continue on the interior with a Kahn Speedo, rev counter, and ivory quilted leather interior with red stitching.
So far this tuning kit has followed the same pattern as Kahn’s previous package, but they did promise a better driving experience so more was definitely added. The Audi TT GT was hooked up with sports lowered suspension springs, a front lower bumper lip in billet steel finish, and a new set of 20 -inch RSV alloy wheels.
So, if you have an Audi TT and are thinking of upgrading, an R8 look-a-like would most certainly be the way to go. For an extra £19,875 - or about $31,750 at the current exchange rates - you too could be driving an R8. Well, sort of. SOURCE:TOP GEAR
